Please note that most of the Code-A positions require that the officials have the ability to regularly access the internet.  HAZ organizational communications are conducted mostly via the internet, by email or instant messaging.  Occasionally, business will be conducted over the phone, but the internet is the preferred and  cheaper conduit of communication for HAZ.  As such applicants need to commit to regularly check the email account that will be provided to them and respond promptly to communications from other officials or members of the general public.

ADMINISTRATIVE POSTS:

An administrative role on HAZ bears a lot of responsibility and calls for passionate commitment to the HAZ mission, goals and objectives, from recruited candidates. Administrators need to be self-motivated, and to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. Prior demonstrable experience working in areas of, or related to HIV/AIDS is required. Administrators must appreciate the inherent challenge faced by the HAZ project. As a trans-continental organization, communication between officers is critical to the smooth adoption and implementation of organizational policies and strategies. Hence the ability to communicate and the willingness to maintain open lines of communication with other administrative team members is the most critical component of serving successfully in this role. You will be a critical component in strategizing the way
forward for all aspects of the HAZ project, and so will need to be willing to provide input beyond your defined specific role on HAZ, to help move the entire project forward, and to ensure the organization’s effectiveness.
